Robin Bartlett Phelan - Partner
Robin is a passionate Medical Malpractice defense attorney. A founding partner in the firm, she represents hospitals and medical professionals in complex medical malpractice, negligence, and wrongful death lawsuits and has numerous jury verdicts to her credit.
Skilled in understanding the medicine behind complex medical issues, Robin also provides counsel and defense to providers and individuals being investigated by licensing agencies such as the Office of Professional Medical Conduct and the Department of Education. Clients and family are Robin's focus, and she is the proud mother of four: Jack, 26, currently finishing law school at Albany Law, Kelsie, 23, in med school at Stony Brook School of Medicine, Kate, 20, a Junior at Colgate majoring in Political Science, and Benjamin 16, a high school Junior and varsity football player. Robin enjoys walking for exercise and loves taking long strolls with her Lab, Ollie, and her beagle, Meeko.
